POP has created a Flash microsite for youngsters and set of characters called The Wild Bunch based on native wildlife.

The characters, which include Oskar the frog and Kendra the Owl form part of a narrative through the microsite and feature in games and downloads.

The site contains ‘Squirrel Run’ where Nash the Squirrel has to collect as many acorns as he can whilst running and jumping through the trees. There’s also downloads such as dot-to-dot, colouring-in, word searches and spot the difference.

The characters are designed to encourage kids to get to know the animals that live in Witham Valley Country Park, teaching them about wildlife and encouraging them to visit the area.
